How can design elements improve customer journeys? Together with Brainjuice s.à r.l. we reimagined public spaces of a shopping center near Bologna/Italy. Bars, restaurants, recreation zones, way finding signals and information desks were designed with the goal to deliver better experiences to visitors of all age. Project for Paris-based Klépierre Group. Implementation and construction work completed in Nov 2014.
The Pattern Lounge
A synthetic or linoleum carpet defines the size of the lounge. The foam elements come in 3 different heights: 45cm, 60cm and 100cm. They have a column ground anchorage set and can be covered with textile or leather.
Corian Elements for Klépierre Shopping Center
For unborn or dead born babies. Design proposal for an extension of a cemetery. A space dedicated to assist the grieving process.
For the entry-level price segment. Inspired by north European architecture. A pure object that offers orientation in times of disorientation, in high esteem and discretion.
BUILDING and TESTING form essential steps in the development process. Self made mockups and 3D printed parts can be of considerable help during the form finding phase while later prototypes should be realised directly on production sites.
